Noting the limitations of existing cargo bikes - bulky, expensive, non-folding - he presented a rudimentary prototype to Atelier Patrick Jouffret, made from folding bike parts. The aim was to transform this idea into a desirable, practical and industrializable object, a genuine tool for clean mobility.
The workshop then embarked on a design phase focusing on four criteria: aesthetics, compactness, lightness and ease of assembly. The designers experimented with mock-ups and analyzed usage to design a product that met the concrete needs of users. Three prototypes were developed with partners, culminating in a functional version: a lightweight aluminum tricycle with a folding system, new steering and interchangeable front accessories. Entirely manufactured in Saint-Étienne, it combines innovation, practicality and local production.
